Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 January 2026
This policy explains what CW Trades stores, why, and how you control it.
What we store
Account identity (email and authentication metadata), workspace membership and roles, the trading data you import or synchronise (orders, executions, positions, balances), the content you author (journal entries, plans, reviews, psychology check-ins, tags), and operational records such as import runs, audit logs and support requests.
Broker credentials
Broker credentials are stored encrypted server-side and are never returned to the browser. They are used solely to perform the read-only synchronisation you configured.
Isolation
Every record is scoped to a workspace and protected by row-level security enforced in the database. Access is checked on the server for every request, not only in the interface. Psychology entries you mark private are readable only by you.
AI processing
When you use the Coach, a bounded evidence packet derived from your own deterministic statistics is sent to the model provider to generate an explanation. The model is used to explain facts CW Trades already calculated; it does not calculate your results and does not make decisions for you.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained for as long as your workspace exists. You can export everything from Settings → Data at any time, and request deletion of the workspace or of its trading data. Deletion is scheduled with a grace period and then removes the records permanently.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct and delete your data using the in-product controls. If a request cannot be completed in-product, raise it from Help & Support.
